What is a Divorce Appraisal?
A divorce appraisal is a service used by attorneys, accountants and homeowners to determine an unbiased valuation of a property for divorce proceedings. Usually, the property will either be sold so that the proceeds can be divided or so that one party can buy-out the other. An equitable division of marital assets is required by an unbiased party.
